Here is a 3/4 violin hand made in Germany circa 1880. It is unlabeled but likely a Neuner Hornsteiner trade instrumnet. Suitable for intermediate to advanced players. It is a nice student instrument with powerful sound of darkish character, and good projection. Pleasant to the ear which will encourage a child to play. Good in higher positions. Of the the two 3/4 violins I have for sale this one boasts a greater volume. It has had a few repairs in its lifetime..All are well done and stable. There is a repaired crack located to the left of the bridge approx 0.7mm from the bassbar. It is hardly visible. Also a recent rib repair done by a luthier/restorer. It was recently fitted with a new bridge and the pegs were adjusted. It is strung with Pirastro Tonica strings. It will be shippped in a used light weight case for protection. Eric Stainer wooden bow (retail value of a 130 dolllars) which is now being rehaired will be included. It goes well with this violin. Questions are welcome. Returns are accepted within 14 days. Item must be returned in original condition. Thank you for looking.
