It has a huge voice, rich and deeply resonant, profound and dominant. The violin is loud, with exceptional power, clarity and projection. At the same time the violin can be soft and quiet, mellow and soulful. This is a quality tone of professional instrument. The two piece back measures 355 mm, the total length is 590 mm. The violin is hand carved from aged quality tonewoods beautifully figured on the back, and beautiful even fine grained spruce on the top. The sides, neck and scroll, all hand carved from beautiful flamed maple. It has been delicately inlaid with purfling, and has ebony fittings, new pirastro tonica strings and good fitted bridge. The both "f" s and scroll are fluted most beautifully. The beautiful golden-brown oil varnish is in good condition, completely original.
