Up for bid is one CJ Dixon Blackwood Uilleann chanter (irish pipes) in the key of D. I bought this used on Ebay last February in anticipation of having Chris Dixon of CJ Dixon in Canada (www.cjdixon.com) make me a custom chanter and I've just received the new one so I no longer need this chanter. Ordering a new custom-made chanter can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years so this is your chance to get one right away. Combine this with a bag and bellows from Chris (which he stocks on his website) and you can have a complete practice set in much less time (and not compromise on the quality).This chanter is made of African Blackwood with imitation ivory ferules, has a brass headpiece and bell, is in beautiful condition, has no engraving, does not have keyblocks and is ready to go. This is a one-of-a-kind musical instrument, plays great and is NOT to be confused with those cheap mass-produced pipe sets here on Ebay - don't be fooled! I am including one reed but I strongly recommend contacting Chris to have him make you a matched reed for this chanter.I accept PayPal only and am offering this with a Buy-It Now and no reserve.
